What do I need to know?
  • Available Monday–Friday at selected Marriott locations (excluding Lingfield, Handbury and St Pancras)
  • You may upgrade to an available Saturday or Sunday for a supplement of £20 per person
  • St Pierre location is currently only available Thursday–Sunday, cream tea is currently unavailable and facility usage may be limited
  • There is a maximum stay of four hours included in this spa day – please request a morning or afternoon at the time of booking
  • Please bring your own swimwear, robes, slippers and towels
  • Robes, slippers and towels are available at an additional cost of £5

The facials were great S were the beauty therapists. Loved the heated bed to lay on. As we were vegetarian for the afternoon tea, spoke to five people; one rang me on a Saturday morning at 8.20am and I was still in bed. Not amused. Told the staff we could eat eggs but were given sandwiches with vegetables in; not very nice. The scones were rock hard. Grapefruit sorbet was very nice. Drinks given at least 30 minutes before food. No one in bar when we left or to get more hot drinks whilst we were eating. Booking in at the spa was ok only because the young guy was on the ball. The lady seemed to be confused.

The place is not suitable for a spa day. It is just a small swimming pool in very bad conditions, full of children and parents. The jacuzzi had cold water. We had to pay extra to access the pool that we ended up not using because it was full of childrens. Our experience includes lunch and that is not given in this venue. The place was very dirty and it looks like it needs repairing. I was looking for a relaxing place to enjoy my birthday with silence and peace and nice swimming facilities unfortunately this Marriott didn't have any of that. The members of Staff were ok though. I don't recommend it to anyone.

I was bought this voucher as a birthday gift and decided to redeem it and book somewhere with quite short notice, I chose the Marriott chain which you have to call direct for availability, I managed to book with less than a weeks notice to go to Breadsall Priory in Derbyshire, so great service there! The grounds are beautiful and the staff were all very helpful in directing us around and making sure we were where we needed to be on time for our treatments and afternoon tea! The treatment rooms are fairly small and a little cold, which I put down to the time of year but again the staff were lovely and made you feel welcomed! And the complimentary teas in the relaxation room helped! The afternoon tea was great, with fresh warm scones and plenty of jam and cream! My only complaint would be the spa facilities which are more like a leisure centre than an actual spa, with a small pool, jacuzzi and steam room but it was still nice to relax by the pool for a while! All in all a lovely day in a nice setting =)

Great staff but low quality

Jayne (Bexleyheath Marriott) accommodated us at the last minute, and was lovely. In fact all staff were lovely, including the young lady in the grill bar too and those giving us treatments. But overall the place is dated and poorly maintained. I've been to the venue a few times years ago, then moved out of area. Back then it was lovely. However, on our visit today the spa rooms were cold, with no heaters (apparently they were removed as needed elsewhere in the hotel due to cold weather) , the jacuzzi was cold (making it unenjoyable) and the tiling (around the jacuzzi) full of limescale. Cream tea (priced at £15pp) was nothing more than two small scones, jam, cream and a cup of tea - in other venues you might have found some small sandwiches thrown in at this price. But the veggie burger and fries (£12.50) was nice. Due to having our spa day at another venue cancelled at the last minute, the Marriot Bexleyheath accommodated us at the last minute. However, they didn't tell us the showers were out of order or that due to the spa bath being back washed the day before it had an overwhelmly string smell of cleaning agent and was cold. We found out on arrival! That said, a member in the changing room told us that in fact the spa had been cold for months, despite complaints, and that we'd been misled in being told that it was because it'd been bsckwashed. On the positive our treatments were lovely and the staff tried to make up for what I can only describe as a below expectation afternoon.

Went to the Bearsted Marriott for an afternoon tea and spa treatment with my husband. The staff were all very polite and friendly and we received excellent service throughout our visit. The changing rooms were clean and spacious. We both had massages which were tailored to our needs and the therapists were really professional. The only downside to the afternoon being there were lots of young children in the changing rooms and pool after 3:30pm so it put an end to our peace and quiet! Your day could be planned around this though.

Pool is not very suitable for swimming but fine for lounging around in. Steam Room & Sauna good. Really sad to see that there is no Jacuzzi (there was once). In terms of Spa Treatments definitely recommend 50 minutes for full body massage and adding the hot stones option. Really very good. Disappointed that the cream team does not include sandwiches and was told by Hotel there are different types of tea - hate to feel let down by the small print!!!!

Arrived at reception appointment for treatments were changed without our knowledge no advice given where the facility's were had to ask customers already there.Only one toilet was operating and Jacuzzi was operating on minimal jets.Paid for a dressing gown which included slippers but no slippers were in stock.We asked where we could purchase a coffee and sandwich and told where the restaurant was situated. and we could wear our dressing gowns in there, on arriving at the restaurant it was closed from 12 until 6 o'clock and was advised to go in the bar and sit in a corner as dressing gowns are not aloud which we did.after a few minutes we were asked to leave.a member of the bar staff seeing us confused and upset ask to have the restaurant opened which they did but we sat in virtual darkness for at leased 10 minutes before the lights were switched on.When a member of staff ask for our order we asked for coffee and a sandwich she said the coffee machine is broke, another member of staff made a instant coffee which took ages to arrive and was luke warm then we ordered our sandwich again this took a long while and for this service we paid £25.The only good experience was the massage which was excellent and professionally carried out.
